I made a formal complaint about this last week and WINZ had a manager call me within an hour to formally apologise. It was a training and IT issue that they are now resolving to prevent it happening again.

At the start of October, WINZ cut my SLP cos I'd missed a letter. I provided them a medical certificate and it was reinstated. So why, today, 2 months later, have they cut it again - this time with NO letter?!

It's exhausting reading about TPM drama when as a member, not once have I ever been approached about local hui, opportunities to have my voice heard outside of AGM, etc. We have processes but god they're naive and lacking the grit and rigour needed for living in a Pākehā world.

I think what's bothering me about all these statements I'm seeing from politicians that are variations of "Israeli hostages and Palestinians are returning to their homes, yay" is that Israelis are returning to their homes and Palestinians are returning to uninhabitable post apocalyptic rubble.
