This sounds a bit like: "They are using Wikipedia for training AI anyway, we might as well get some cash". But I feel like the public's motivation (or lack thereof) to contribute isn't appreciated.

3 Greek tankers attacked by drones, without casualties or heavy damage, on their way to pick up Kazakh oil from a Russian terminal. Ukraine says no comment. Could also be hostile business competition. Landlocked Kazakhstan has trouble exporting and this obviously won't help.

The problem here is the wholesale appification of commerce, public services and transport. The more purchases, e-learning, social services and transport tickets rely on apps the more people from the age of 11 are structurally dependent on smartphones

I received this email and almost clicked "let us know". I remember it looked authentic. Before clicking, I checked this list in Meta's account center, and they hadn't sent any emails. You have to really dig in the settings to find this list.

More websites should approach UI design like Wikipedia: find something that works and stick with it for a while. Much rather use a good design from a decade ago, than a UI that is chopping and changing to keep up with the latest trends.

What other business demands regular statements from people that they are not customers, and even if you waste time filling in their stupid form, they'll still try to visit your home to confirm. Also notice the small link to "claim" I am not a customer.
