I feel like this will get real stupid, real fast. Like they'll force Maduro to say he helped Joe Biden rig the election, and Trump will use that as a pretext to pressure Republicans to "nationalize the elections" and then... well I expect things would combust around there.
It was @asharangappa.bsky.social who first put this idea in my head, but really starting to feel like they're gonna try to get Maduro to cop to some insane 2020 election conspiracy in exchange for leniency

Echoing this. A lot of people operate on midwit logic, thinking that optimism reflects naivety (like in children). But optimism can also express adults' sense of clarity about themselves and the world. You need to see that simplicity is not always sagacious and also that sagacity is often simple.
Too many people on Bluesky think that relentless expressions of despair are a sign of intellectual sophistication.

The extension of this is that Trump didn't plan to lose in 2020. Epstein died in 2019 and then covid happened so there wasn't an opportunity to do a real cover up.

hilarious post and also I continue to believe that a lot of the dumbassery around stuff like raw milk and anti-vax is, aside from just good ol' ignorance, that some people are always looking for a biological basis for their social status. Believing you are immune to cow shit germs is one such way.
I live in Iowa so if you wanna see a cow up close, you have plenty of opportunities to do so. And when you do you understand exactly why pasteurization is an essential, life-saving process.
