If someone is able, masking is a socially responsible thing to do. I still do it when I'm able to leave the house, and I feel safer around those who do. In so doing they demonstrate a level of social care and consideration for the safety of those around them, not merely their own comfort.

More than that, for those of us who never recover, repeat infections are a terrifying prospect. It can take years to claw back a semblance of function, only to be lost in a moment because some wazzock chose to cough all over you. You get sick again and your body does not handle the strain.

Last night, Israel intercepted the Global Sumud Flotilla, illegally seizing ships and those onboard.

I've written to the Foreign Secretary, urging the government to condemn this attack and speak up for the safety and immediate release of the 13 British citizens detained.

A letter to the Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper MP on Bell Ribeiro-Addy MP's Parliamentary letterhead. It expresses "grave concern for the safety of British citizens participating in the Global Sumud Flotilla". It highlights the illegal seizure of British-flagged ships and British citizens, calling on the government to "clearly condemn this attack on British citizens by the Israeli military and take every action to have our citizens returned to the UK swiftly and safely."

I have come to the conclusion the EHRC guidance on single sex spaces should not even come to Parliament. It is misleading and has caused distress for my trans constituents.
