Watching Gravity Falls and just finished the episode where the secret Eighth and a half president appointed infants to the Supreme Court and like. Astoundingly prescient of a kids show.

Sure get rid of the penny minting (.01), but unless you're following it up with "no vendor can use any cent other than .25, .10, or .05 combinations! Online or offline", hey guess what? You've still got penny circulation. You can't have "two cents" anymore 😂

By characterizing abortion as health care, international orgs have pushed back against abortion exceptionalism. The World Health Organization recognizes that “[a]bortion is a simple health care intervention.” Numerous countries have adopted laws and policies to align with WHO recommendations.

I really hate it when scientists keep saying that “we need to rebuild trust in science,” because it implies that scientists are to blame for the mistrust rather than the millions of dollars of dark money that have funded political attacks on science in order to advance a far right agenda.

If you are having issues with art theft, please get in touch with Justice 4 Artists. I have been working with them for a year and we just finished taking down 100 shops that were stealing and selling my work. No up front cost and they are an awesome team to work with. I will do a full write up soon.

Peter Thiel has sold all of his Nvidia stock.

We all need to say this very clearly:

NO BAILOUTS FOR THEFT-TECH!

Expropriate their asses instead.

They stole from all of us and fully plan to burn the planet.

They owe us - not the other way around. 1/3

Not to mention authors don't get just ONE purchase. Libraries tend to purchase multiple copies of popular books, they also buy the physical audiobook, and audiobook streaming and ebook rights. Obviously not of EVERY book purchased, but requested/super popular ones they could buy all of these.
Libraries purchase books. When you see a book at the library, it isn’t “free”

the library bought it.

which in turn means that the community bought it.

In other words, library books are not lost sales for authors and publishers; they’re positive sales. Active sales. Those are bought.
