I am bolstered by the ongoing courage of normal people standing up to violent state actors at great risk to themselves. Minneapolis is a pervasive display of moral justice in the face of a deeply immoral system.

This is an American issue and the reasons we don’t fight it are homegrown

I will live to see a world where the people responsible for this are brought to justice or spend the rest of their lives being hunted like rabbits without a moment's peace. I will.
Minnesota: "School officials say the [5-year-old] child was used as bait. They say [ICE] agents made little Liam knock on the door to ask to be let in in order to see if anyone else was home."

I normally try to remain sanguine about the rapid deterioration of norms but it really is absurd that a major American city is under siege by the federal government and I have to go about my life like it is nothing.
Minneapolis, today.

Note how three agents holding the civilian down.

Why spray?

I realise I'm just a freak, but living in a multicultural city is the best thing of all time, it's just the best possible human experience and i can not understand why anyone on earth would be like "weve got to destroy this"

When you're underaged, you buy this because you're broke with bad taste and you want to get lit for less than minimum wage.

When you're middle-aged, you buy this because your new book about pickling recommends making a sanitizing spray that's part vodka.

Renee Good died because the federal thugs being deployed throughout this nation are panicking. But no matter how many ICE agents there are, there are more of us who oppose them.

I will continue to patrol. I will continue to respond to requests to verify. I will continue to fight for a better world.
Yesterday was the post-CBP invasion call with Siembra NC. It was announced that CBP was coming the Charlotte on Nov. 14th. In the days that followed, 4500 people showed up for online training and in JUST 4 DAYS, 1500 people got in-person verifier training in the Triangle alone.

We're going to win.

"what are we going to do with 20,000 ICE agents if we abolish ice" well to start with I think we should all literally spit on them in public for the rest of their lives

There's actually a more recent historical framework for this exact argument than Roman law. But Vermeule chose not to cite the "Subjects and Citizens" chapter of Hitler's Mein Kampf for some reason!
I had missed this latest delirium by Adrian Vermeule on birthright citizenship

'Common law?! NAH, it's the Roman law of adoption that should govern the interpretation of the 14th Amendment of the US Constitution!'

My dad sent me a direct link to this skeet, in case you're wondering what it is like to have a terminally online father who is willing to read his kid for filth.
i used to think that some day they would figure out how to make a lawyer that isn't insane and now i am more convinced than ever that this is impossible

Every day this man remains at large is proof that life is extremely fucking funny and worth living.
A Disney Springs restaurant was robbed by a scuba man 🤿

• He swam up to the restaurant after it closed

• Spray painted the security cameras

• Stole up to $20K while staff were counting cash for deposit

• Dove back into the water and escaped before police arrived

I am VINDICATED.

I said that "kissing a peanut" sounded like Hans Moleman's forehead was wrinkled, dry, and a little salty... like a peanut shell.

Dr. Betrothed assumed it was be smooth, like a shelled peanut.

Eat your heart out, Family Feud! I knew what most respondents would answer.
Gen Xers and Millennials, help me settle a bet with Dr. Betrothed.

When Homer describes kissing Hans Moleman in this scene from "The Simpsons," what do you think he means when he describes it as being like "kissing a peanut." youtu.be/1VYyMEdwc2c?...
It's like kissing a peanut. The Simpsons
