I personally don't tell people who have been fighting their hearts out daily for weeks not to celebrate wins of any size. I certainly don't do that when I've been nowhere near the place where the fight has been happening and have done little more than make some donations from miles away.

The overall point is the exact right one. But the hill I will die on is that it’s “not just Republicans.” There’s no good reason to use maga here. The implications are broad. Not only does it imply that Republicans were “PC” before Trump but it also lets Republicans hide behind the mask of maga
Of course the sad and frustrating part is that it's not just MAGA. More people are feeling comfortable using this word because the President, Elon Musk, and others have created a permission structure indicating it's okay to use it. It fucking sucks. There had been so much progress.
