I would never have expected this level of fractured police solidarity, like 2nd biggest shock of the year after DOGE turning out to be a hostile government takeover instead of a dumb joke. Some mix of negative polarization & mass poaching of CHUDs from local & state police by ICE recruiting.
it's objectively cool and good for a society teetering on the edge of a fascist dystopia when the state security forces publicly threaten to pit themselves against one another because the currently-more-heinous one is so deeply unpopular with both the local and national citizenry
