As someone who reads a lot of technical documentation, I think typos or obviously non-grammatical sentences in technical documentation are starting to become a mark of quality for me. If it's obviously syntactically wrong, it feels less likely to be LLM-generated.

The irony is that I assumed if we got to the “show your papers/people getting kidnapped” stage I would leave the country and build a new life abroad. But morally I can’t leave my vulnerable neighbors to suffer alone. I try to remind myself many famous good figures in history were just regular folks.

This is what I was trying to say a bit ago, but way better said. There’s plenty of people who’ll be at abolish ICE stepwise after a couple more years of abuses, who aren’t there yet. Screaming abolish ICE won’t get those people there now, and also it wouldn’t abolish ICE now.
continually pushing for more accountability and oversight will continue to uncover abuses, which will continue to drive negative sentiment toward ICE, CBP and DHS, but you've got to put one foot in front of the other, you can't skip the process and get the outcome you want

getting mad at wyden — who has one of the strongest records of voting against this admin in the entire senate — for this post is a remarkable act of pointless performative outrage.
Republicans cut funding for health care to pay for Trump's lawless militia. Giving more money to use 5-year-olds as bait and shoot unarmed mothers is unacceptable. I will not vote to give more money to ICE until there is accountability and an end to these abuses.
