No other sport has such a high ceiling on things going weird and I don’t trust anyone who calls themself a fan of the game who doesn’t love it for that.

Dragon Age: Veilguard arrived nine years after it was announced. It is for the moment, behind the moment, and ignored by the moment. A year on, it deserves an honest second look if not a bit more love to a metatextual memorial for both an industry and a place in time.

This is how I imagine JK Rowling when she posts.
JK Rowling says "ha ha.. h-heh. I won! I won!" She sits alone in the dark, bathed in the late of her computer screen. We pull back to see her in a large dark empty room. She continues "I won." Seeing the full scope of her cavernous workplace, she appears small and alone. She says, once again, "I won..."

Yakuza Like A Dragon and Infinite Wealth are great because it’s like “Oh you’re being a horrible human being? Come outside so me and my three tired adult friends can kick your ass.”

Posters by Japanese designer Koichi Sato, 1970s-90s.
Poster with the imprint of a hand outlined in blue over a white background. The interior of the palm and fingers is black with constellations, and a pink grid and labels are placed over the image. Poster with an abstract image of blue-to-pink gradient inside a tall rectangle, outlined by a frame with a yellow, blue, orange, and pink gradient. Pale white squiggles are moving over the entire image. Poster with an illustration of a figure in silhouette with dragonfly wings, floating over a white expanse with a black sky. Poster with a dark image of a woman with long hair falling over her face, mostly obscured by shadow, with columns of text on the left and right edges.

Me: “Why do I feel bad and sad all the time?”
Also me: (Isolated, bad at eating healthy, my constant companion is an advanced technological marvel full of cruelty, malice and a will to dominate all life)
