The President of the United States personally called and pressured Georgia election officials to declare him the winner of an election he'd lost. This is permissible.

A roundtrip LAX-JFK flight in the late 60s was around $3K in today’s dollars. The people who wore suits on those flights were the people who regularly wore suits. Complaining about informally-dressed fliers is complaining that the wrong sorts of people are flying today.

I mean I'd prefer we had enough air traffic controllers to fly all our planes safely, but hey, shaming people in open-toed shoes on airplanes isn't terrible I guess

Being considerate is not just a character flaw but something one should seek redress from the government for

We might look for a lot of different motives, but MTG is following a very long line of Republicans who had some small power over Trump but choose to surrender that power rather than face a Trump-backed primary candidate (and whatever violent threats came along with that).

Last week, Trump called MTG a traitor
Yesterday, he said that traitors in Congress should be hanged
Anyway...
They line up perfectly.

If RFK issued a rule forbidding surgeons from using antiseptic instrument cleaners... well yeah I guess that would be "challenging orthodoxy." Another phrase is "killing people."
Breaking News: Robert F. Kennedy Jr. said he personally instructed the CDC to abandon its position that vaccines do not cause autism. The move underscores his determination to challenge scientific orthodoxy — in this case, that vaccines save lives — and bend the health department to his will.
