As we're all chiming in on street calming/trails/mayoral despair...I was *moments* from dooring a cyclist on Summit ~2 hours ago.
It was dusk, I checked my side mirror, started to open the door, and immediately pulled it closed when I realized the cyclist's light had blended with the cars' lights.

This is not the point, but people treating cows like puppies makes me want to throw things. Even if that cow is the sweetest, gentlest creature, if a bug bites it and you're standing in the wrong place, one reactionary kick can kill you.
