No TERFs, SWERFs, or cop apologists. A gestapo by any other name is still a gestapo. Genocide is bad, actually. So are concentration camps.

One of the most useful things a community organizer ever told me was "if someone wants to play tug of war with you, let go of the rope." The power in any conflict lies not w/ the person who initiates, but w/the person who responds. "Thanks for sharing your perspective, you may be right." And move on

Do your best work offline and do not expect to be thanked. Do it because it's the right thing to do, not because you want people to like you. We all go into the dirt alone. No one else will be there when your guardian angel starts listing off your good deeds. Learn to be emotionally self-sufficient.

Since the infighting and one-upsmanship has started--people who feel helpless + frustrated turn on each other, it's just a sad fact--remember: you don't have to like the people you fight alongside. Your comrades will say profoundly stupid bullshit to you, about you, etc. Let it roll off, keep going

The way that people have memory-holed that Abolish the Police was the actual radical demand in 2020 and Defund the Police was incrementalist reformism to help get there is extremely depressing

Moreover, ICE must be destroyed

So...has there been any explanation as to WHY no one is looking to prosecute anyone over Grok creating CSAM?

Because no one disputes that it is happening...

Is there some specific reason it is NOT being treated like CSAM usually is? I genuinely don't get it.

This is a genuinely important question, btw. Lolicon/shotacon sites are bending over backwards and removing anything with graphics more realistic than a PS2 render to make sure they're staying within the realm of legal by a mile, and meanwhile Grok is just straight up doing this.

So when authorities say “she tried to run over an officer,” that is not a neutral description. It is a claim of intent that can be used to justify lethal force after the fact.

When the state kills first and invents the threat afterward, it is not policing, it is death squad behavior. /end

Yes, JD. Let’s ask them if they think a stay at home mom, avowed Christian, and widow of a veteran deserved to be shot in the face and left to bleed out in her own car after dropping her 6-year-old off at school, for the crime of looking out for her neighbors. Let’s ask everyone running for office.

Trump just said "all" of Venezuela's oil must be made accessible to US oil companies. Trump wants to emulate Putin's model: Authoritarian, expansionist rulers carving up their regions and distributing the spoils of conquest to friendly oligarchs. 1/

I keep thinking about this post and how it's one of the best, most succinct messages Democrats could use in 2026 campaigns.
If you want to know who took all of your money, it's the people with all of the money. Famously, we know that's people working in child care.

If you understand that the modern patriarchy really objects to women owning themselves every other policy makes sense.
The rise of deepfakes and AI CSAM prove public and private sectors don’t actually care about abuse, but still punish sex workers, queer people, and women under that guise. Credit cards companies and law enforcement punish consensual sex and sexuality, but ignore and therefore encourage abuse

i keep staring at this and it gets dumber. "neoliberalism" from "the enlightenment period" is one thing, but if your idea of fascism is literally just "a government willing to kill dissenters," then to be frank you don't have a good grasp of what "fascism" is either.
