Picking up followers so here’s an intro. Hi! I’m Andy. I’m a writer, creative consultant, improvisor, comedy human. Big into classic Hollywood, I have a monthly movie column in a newspaper. Lover of music, MST3K, and a depressed elder millennial still lost in his ‘90s childhood. Welcome!

Too legit to make dinner? U can't touch a hot stove? Not going to make a food pun about She's Soft and Wet. What a stupid idea this one is.

Rob Reiner either made your favorite movie, or made somebody you know’s favorite movie. If you’re a Californian, he’s also part of the reason you or your friends can get married. He has changed more lives for the better than this asshole commenting on him ever did.

It may sound radical, but if one guy has so much wealth and power that he can use the large newspaper he owns to publicly threaten to ruin a service we all rely on, presumably as a bargaining tactic to get lower rates, we probably need to tax that guy until he can't do that anymore.

i dont want to live in a world that values gambling apps and ai i want to live in a world that celebrates mustard and puppets
This commercial for French's Mustard from 1987 is equal parts charming and also kinda unsettling, but what strikes me is the work that went into the absolutely delightful puppetry and practical effects for a *mustard commercial*!! Imagine that today??

Giving Apple Music a try out, I'm the music person who still buys music, so I want streaming to mostly be "hyper customized radio," but I've been also thinking for the last year it would be nice to try something with better sound quality than, YouTube Music.
