In America you drop your kid off at school, get your brains blown out on the ride home, then the Vice President drops everything for a week to call you a terrorist, to slander your family, to protect the circumstances that led to your death so they can do it again. It is government by Alex Jones.

Just naked and brazen corruption. All states represented by Democrats in the Senate.

Time to stiffen our spines and demand that we only fund a government that obeys the law.

1. More Americans work at the Cheesecake Factory than in the entire coal industry, and that won't change. It's because of automation, not snooty libs.

2. Coal energy is now more expensive than wind and solar.

3. So this means: higher energy prices, more pollution, no jobs benefit. Genius!
Energy Secretary Chris Wright on Fox: "We're announcing today expanded programs to help the American coal industry. We're helping it because for years it has been under assault. It was out of fashion with the chardonnay set in San Francisco, Boulder, and NYC ... coal just makes the world go round."

The near daily barrage of deadly mass shootings in America feels like low level warfare against normal citizens who just want to live in peace. And because people keep electing Republicans who won’t do anything about it there’s no solution in sight.

The debate around what is or isn’t “cancel culture” really just obscures a simple truth that it’s BAD to be massively racist/sexist/homophobic/transphobic and it’s GOOD to speak out against injustice. Some things are good and some things are bad and it’s okay to say which you think are which.

1. He can fire all the prosecutors he wants but still a long way from getting a conviction without evidence. We'll see.
2. He's getting crazier by the hour now, isn't he? This is on top of talking about re-invading Afghanistan and no one is allowed to criticize him on TV...and that's just today.

It’s wild to think that Biden had the economy on track to pull off a soft landing, which most economists thought was nearly impossible, and then Trump decided to mess that all up because he wanted to play strongman
Moodys Chief Economist Mark Zandi: “The (US) economy is on the precipice of recession…Consumer spending has flatlined, construction and manufacturing are contracting, and employment is set to fall. And with inflation on the rise, it is tough for the Fed to come to the rescue.”

For 50 years GOP has employed 3 big scams:

*deficits pose dire threat only when Dem is in WH
*tax cuts for rich pay for themselves
*safety net cuts needed to purge welfare cheats

w/this bill, Trump's "working class GOP" is supercharging all three

This was the logical next step, if you’ve been paying attention.
Trump calls for deporting US citizens: "We also have a lot of bad people that have been here for a long time ... many of them were born in our country. I think we ought to get them the hell out of here too, if you want to know the truth. So maybe that'll be the next job."

one thing that is important to emphasize at that this is just republican governance at work! this is what happens when you give republicans power in washington!
Final vote. 50-50. VP breaks the tie.

One single GOP Senator could have stopped this abomination. Saved millions of parents from watching their child go hungry. Saved the lives destroyed when Medicaid disappears.

They will all live forever with the horror of this bill.

She's no mote responsible than the other 49. She's just better at branding her terrible world view as a less terrible world view. A vote is support and she's supports this as equally as all the other votes, it's a binary yes/no, don't believe her bullshit.
This is absurd. Murkowski was the deciding vote. All the GOPers who voted to strip millions of their health coverage & reduce food assistance to millions of kids to give deficit-expanding tax cuts to the wealthy are each responsible for this. But...Murkowski is a little bit more responsible.
She voted for it, but she’s against it and hopes the House makes changes. The Republican Party.
