a fascinating writeup on the making of a set of widely distributed IDF propaganda videos, specifically identifying assets they used. there's something incredibly unsettling about the creative ethos here. stolen assets. no actual intelligence information at all. just hubris and pure fabrication.

Others assets came from scans made by the Scottish Maritime Museum of their boat-building workshop which was downloaded (via @sketchfab.bsky.social) and reimagined by the IDF adornments for underground missile factories.

In Super Mario Maker for Nintendo 3DS, some of Mario's forms use placeholder graphics for actions they are not capable of performing. Weird Mario's fireball graphic is Bowser, except Weird Mario cannot actually throw fireballs. If he could, he would literally be throwing Bowsers.
