Anyway, where has Hollywood been hiding Yao, the actor who played Bo Chow in, “Sinners.” That man is too fine not to be a household name!

I do so love a found family light-hearted workplace drama where the "office/job" has a skin of a non-traditional workplace genre over it. Like Burn Notice, Leverage, Warehouse 13, Eureka, Farscape, Psych, Middleman, etc. Just a fave subgenre of TV. So good.

Mark Zuckerberg saying “actually no one has friends” is at “the female orgasm doesn’t exist” levels of telling on yourself
He actually said "FEWER than three friends"

Y'all I am an introvert. I don't want a colosseum of buddies. That sounds awful.

I have a lot more than three friends?

I hate these bastards in Silicon Valley so much for what they've done to the idea of tech. The idea that we as a collective people could work together to improve our lives through ingenuity, collaboration, and determination. Instead, it's become a ponzi scheme based on the idea of line goes up.

Sinners dropping just 6% in its second weekend merits a much bigger headline than its $48 million opening. It is actual box-office news--news as in "This never happens." Just a giant thing, for Ryan Coogler and for the future of original material.

Tomorrow’s Variety headline:

“Considering Decline in Value of US Dollar, Did ‘Sinners’ REALLY Make $100M?”
Warner Bros.'s Sinners has passed the $100M domestic mark.

The film grossed an estimated $45.0M this weekend (from 3,347 locations), which was a 6% decrease from last weekend. Estimated total domestic gross stands at $122.53M.

the sweaty desperation of Hollywood studios to try and find SOME way to spin “Sinners” as a flop to keep other artists from following Coogler’s brilliant example just looks more and more absurd with each passing day as we see what the actual numbers look like

He is Ryan Coogler.

Respect him and his craft.
