Even though I hadn't been using Twitter much in the last year, I'd been hanging onto my account until the election. Finally deleted it today after downloading my archive and doing some mass following. Already digging the vibes in this corner of the interwebs.

Only by the grace of the presiding officer and Sen. Booker allowing the gallery to celebrate the moment was Schumer not immediately ruled for speaking out of order and shut down more brutally by Booker.
I'm frankly pissed that Schumer felt it necessary to jump in and try to usurp the moment.

The interesting thing about this is how technology has made it easier to erase history and distort it. There’s no fire from burning books things are just gone with the click of a button.
The Army deleted my “Why I served” video where I talked about how I decided I wanted to attend West Point/join the Army after one of the cadets my family used to sponsor died in combat. Probably deleted because she was the first black woman to be CSM at West Point.
