The irony of this is that ChatGPT’s biggest weakness outside outright hallucinations is that it constantly just tells you what you want to hear. insofar as it could ever be a good tool, until they fix that, people are going to absolutely dement their brains in a recursive positive feedback loop

What sucks is people see this stuff and think it's going to replace like lit books, but it's mostly replacing specialty things like flora/fauna identification guides where accuracy actually matters lol
Why? Who is this meant to be good for? Nobody wants your shit AI books, never mind 8,000 in a year. Just a terrible idea and a horrible road the publishing industry is heading down.
