Helping schools build online programs since 2017. Recovered law talking guy. Most of my original posts are about my kids or Michigan sports. Go Blue!

This came up in my old posts today. Don’t know why, but it feels good to know that Andre 3000 specifically is this kind of guy.

Day off at home with the kids for a snowday so naturallywatching The Price Is Right. One of the family members of a contestant had on a low key dirty joke on her custom sweater. “Come On Down” with an arrow pointing where you think. I’m dying over here while the kids keep asking what’s so funny

"Please get the truth out about our son."

Alex from our time working together, while he was in nursing school. Later, he moved to ICU, working as a nurse to support critically ill Veterans. He had such a great attitude. We’d chat between patients about trying to get in a mountain bike ride together. Will never happen now

There's one foolproof way to gauge whether someone is a millennial or a zoomer: Ask them how they learned the difference between Iceland and Greenland.

If the answer is from D2: The Mighty Ducks, you're talking to a millennial. Otherwise, zoomer.

ND injured Michigan's starting goalie, got rewarded with a five minute major on Michigan, and they were the ones repeatedly cross checking players into the boards at the end of it.

when you see Miami pounding out run after run after run after run after run, you have to remember their offensive line coach is 5-foot-4 Alex Mirabal

do you realize how good this man must be at coaching offensive line play

Good morning. I'd like to invite anyone who is interested to make a small gesture of kindness today. It's up to you to decide what that can be. The key is for you to act on the idea. With so much out of our control, we can choose how to be with each other today and every day.

13 weeks to Charity Bowl '26 and we're gonna take care of everybody we can between now and then, aren't we, coaches
You and Spencer dispensed that advice after the last Charity Bowl (planting trees), it rang true then and made me tear up. Even more so now.

Sometimes all you can do is make the world 0.0000000000001% less awful by being a good person and it feels very meaningless but it’s also the only thing that really matters

This is my favorite headcanon and it's a great example of how readers can offer a different reading of a text that the author never considered and did not intend, but is nonetheless validated by the text itself.
A shitpost so great Billy Joel actually heard about it

It's rather incredible to me how many sports outlets' primary takeaway from this livestream was that Nacua criticized NFL refs and not that he did something EXTREMELY antisemitic during it. AA is practically the only one to actually highlight this.

some significant part of this is just catch-all fear for “this is not the child I ordered” I think
Oh, here's a big surprise. The transphobes don't believe in ADHD either.
then, the transphobes , feeling victorious at how many people they have made unhappy and despairing in the previous week, move on to anything else that has a spectrum and the possibility of more colours than they can conceive - such hateful people - they cannot understand anything that is not THEM

lmao they put the World Cup in America and now it's got commercial breaks.
News: Every 2026 World Cup match will feature two "hydration breaks," no matter the weather.

Each half will pause for exactly three minutes midway through.

It's a player welfare measure. It also has sporting & commercial implications.

More @theathleticfc.bsky.social:
2026 World Cup to feature three-minute hydration breaks in every half throughout tournament
Every game will pause for three minutes in the middle of each half, which will essentially split the match into quarters.

Watching the FIFA draw, I’m reminded of one thing the NHL absolutely gets right that other sports should follow: relentlessly booing the commissioner every time he is in front of any audience.

When I was a new parent, getting my children their vaccines on schedule was always a huge sigh of relief. It's heartbreaking when kids are sick, and to have the chance to give them protection against debilitating illnesses is a medical marvel
Since becoming a parent I have not, in fact, understood the parents who say “if you were a parent you’d understand” about vaccine hesitancy. Being in charge of this fragile little miracle has me saying things like “give her all the vaccines. Turn this baby into a pincushion” to doctors
