"Content" is a blatantly misleading term to use for fanworks. Fanworks are the antithesis of content; content is produced for individual gain and consuming, whereas fanworks are created out of inspiration and the communal experience.

I think it’s really important that when a game goes from fun daily tasks to actively becoming a chore to you that that’s when it’s time to drop those games
And for me, Star Rail and ZZZ have definitely reached that point so I’m going to stop playing them now, cause I’m not enjoying them anymore

A reason I'm so hard on the angry young men of today is because in my youth I could have very easily become one of them, but I quickly recognized that my experience was explicitly informed by my choices and not anyone else's. If I wanted to be happy, I had to be a good person even when it was hard.
One annoying thing about the tortured Young Men discourse is that we too often treat them as if they have zero agency in all of this. They have choices. They can choose not to be toxic.
