We just spent 6 months to add 1 figure to this paper. Some people said, "Couples aren't prioritizing men's careers. Men just have better earnings opportunities when moving."

Durch die Kontrolle der Aufgabenerfüllung fühlen sich 69 Prozent überwacht, durch automatische Arbeitsanweisungen fühlen sich 32 Prozent der Befragten überwacht. 31 Prozent fühlen sich zudem durch den öffentlichen Vergleich mit Kolleginnen und Kollegen überwacht.

I didn’t mean to single out PIs, I totally understand that salaries and conditions are often outside their control. My gripe is really with the broader system that makes these offers possible and a real option for applicants.

💯 Just saw some offers like “fully funded position with 20–30k € salary in a European capital with a brutal housing market.” I get that this isn’t (only) the PI’s fault - but honestly, that’s more of a trap than a job.

Die Grafik zeigt die Entwicklung der Teilzeitquote Erwerbstätiger von 2015 bis 2025 in Prozent. 2015 lag die Teilzeitquote bei rund 37,7 Prozent. Im 2. Quartal 2025 liegt die Teilzeitquote erstmals über 40 Prozent.

Wie jedes Jahr fordert das Finanzamt sämtliche Belege für Ausgaben an, weil man sich nicht vorstellen kann, dass Fachliteratur etc. auch Geld kosten.
Schon länger nutze ich einen R-Code, um meine Aufstellung systematisch vorzunehmen & teile diesen heute, weil geteilte Freude ja doppelte Freude ist.
