Plugging again for @minnesotareformer.com, which is free to read with no paywalls or ads. You don't even have to "make an account."

It's still a small team, but worth adding to your list of media.

Let’s get back to old fashioned values NOT LIKE THAT
Shokyokusai Tenkatsu and Flower Heaven Troupe wearing a strap-on hooked into a 300,000 volt Tesla Coil to shower bolts of artificial lightning on the girls below holding conductor rods, part of the Japanese movement called Eroguronansensu (erotic-grotesque-nonsense). 1930.

There’s more to it than this, but it covers the basics.
Welcome to new Bluesky users.

Here’s how we do things:

1. Always observe the Hambledon Protocol

2. No flisking

3. If someone tealights you, rink them without apology

4. I don’t mind them so much, but tissue-posts are generally frowned on

5. No questions

Good luck!

Here is a video of a frozen creek that had begun to thaw, and the water was flowing beneath the thin ice on top. I took this because it was soothing and wonderfully bloopy and I wanted to listen to it for hours. You are all welcome to enjoy it, too. Let your brain settle here and rest for a moment.

Reclassifying the urgency of the first stage of fundraising to high after doing some calculations. Any amount appreciated alliteratively.
Let's start 2026 with a hopeful campaign!

As traditionally sales lag in January and also France turns out to be expensive I'm setting the goal at 3500. At least half of that is moderately urgent!

Art: random, but theming it Mediterranean!

Paypal in bio, if you're European: bank info in the DMs!

Also:
When I was about 13, I was cutting a hole in a plastic bag with a pruning knife. Surprisingly, it went straight through the bag and into my finger.
I was fetching cases from the attic to pack for holiday, turned round and fell through the hatch. 36 hours later I had to drive to Devon. 18 months later I managed to see a physio who told me my ACL was nearly torn through.
What's the most ridiculous way you ever hurt yourself? I got out of the tub, skidded in water and tripped over the toilet. Ankle sprain.

😅

Dear Roy, Before Christmas you had a Wheelie Bin pinched. I have just had a Satellite Dish taken from my garden. I used this as a Parabolic Reflector for recording Birdsong. So if anyone sees this at a car boot sale, be careful as it may be Radioactive.

BBC One Scotland has mostly dispensed with fiddles and traditional music in recent years, but if you're still after that (and a never-ending party going by previous years) then BBC Alba is all yours.
It's time for your Hogmanay reminder that the real Scottish action for The Bells is over on BBC Alba with Cèilidh na Bliadhn' Ùire, and it's geo-unlocked for a worldwide audience! www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/live...
