The insanity of all of this is that literally a handful of fucking elected Republicans could stop all of this. Which tells me they like it.

I'm running for Congress to replace a Democrat that continually votes to fund and enable this violence. This terror squad needs to be off US streets. I will vote to #DismantleICE every time I have a chance. Watching Federal Officers kill a man in cold blood is unacceptable.
🚨 #GVerse ANOTHER ICE KILLING

#BreakingNews : A video is circulating online of #FuckICE agents appearing to EXECUTE a man on a Minnesota sidewalk who was resisting arrest.

We’re waiting for more facts but the video is terrifying.

I watched the entire DHS press conference which Bovino just held a few minutes ago. They are tripling down on the fascism. Bovino could not have not been more clear that there is nothing that can't be justified in the name of immigration enforcement, and that there will never be consequences for ICE

They are grabbing and bursting testicles.

That’s sexual assault.

We already know women detainees have been raped, assaulted and in some cases sterilized.

This is sick stuff. They want to inflict maximum pain.

They’re abusers drunk on power.

CBP chief Bovino has confirmed that the officers who executed Alex Pretti in the street yesterday are not only *not on administrative leave,* they have all been reassigned to other jurisdictions and are all on the street today.

This is totally unheard of for any officer-involved shooting

You can sign the petition to release Rodney below!

He’s being denied disability accommodations.

He’s been placed in solitary confinement.

His health is deteriorating.

He’s been locked up for a year.

It’s beyond cruel and unusual punishment.

It’s eugenics.

This is one of the things that I find is most shocking to people outside Minnesota who don’t realize it yet—the scale at which everyone who isn’t white has been forced into a spectrum of hiding.

Very good article drawing out the Tahrir Square comparison.

Here's a regular white guy (literally "Chad") not a protester. because, "It seemed pointless, or just a way for people to expiate their sense of guilt." Chad witnessed something shattering. And, that all changed in a moment.

Excellent article!

The Atlantic Magazine just dropped a tremendous story on the Minnesota Resistance. The author is a war correspondent & sees the echoes of leaderless community empowerment around the globe: www.theatlantic.com/politics/202... (supposed to be a gift link, might not work, it’s in Apple News, too.)

Murphy on Bovino: "That was a bone-chilling interview. I was shaking while I was listening to it, in large part bc it takes just an unbelievable amount of gall to lie to the American public. Everybody saw that video ... it should freak the public out that the Trump administration lies this easily"

ICE took the flower man in Echo Park 40 minutes ago. He’s at this corner every day. I’ve bought flowers from the man and woman here for anniversaries and birthdays. Lemmy loves to smell them whenever we walk by in the mornings. I was just at the street corner 15 minutes before it happened. Fuck.

Secretary Noem has forfeited her right to lead. I’m calling on her to resign.

Gregory Bovino must also be fired.

All the anti-war and anti-occupation protestors were right. All the far leftists were right. All the “woke scolds” and your friend who’s “too woke” were right. They were somehow even more right than they may have realized at the time. But really, it was always obvious they were right.

Everyone in Chicago saw how close this violence was if you interacted with these federal agents. There’s several photos of them directly pointing their weapons at members of the press. They will not stop their violence because that is their actual purpose. They exist to terrorize us into submission.

Not trying to be inflammatory or hyperbolic here, but I can’t stop thinking that we’d have no problem speaking about this in clear terms of condemnation and alarm if it was happening in another country
Carrying out violence against a targeted group with the goal of affecting political outcomes is how this country defines terrorism and I am struggling to come up with a clear reason why the federal rampage on Minneapolis shouldn’t be thought of that way
Pam Bondi's conditions for Minnesota: 1) give us all your state data on your food programs, including SNAP 2) repeal all your sanctuary policies in the state (since it has led to "so much crime and violence") and 3) hand over your state voting rolls. Letter here: www.fox9.com/news/minneap...

So Kyle Rittenhouse, who attended a protest armed with a loaded assault rifle and killed 2 people is a right-wing hero.

But Alex Pretti who had a holstered, permitted handgun, was recording ICE, and tried to help a pepper-sprayed woman deserved to die?

No one is buying this BS.
Kash Patel: "You cannot bring a firearm, loaded, with multiple magazines to any sort of protest that you want. It's that simple. You don't have a right to break the law." (Pretti was carrying a gun legally.)
