Less funny: Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) voted to confirm Trump's Secretary of Agriculture.

I KNOW the Republicans are the much bigger problem. But we also have to get real that bipartisanship screwed us early in 2025.

Goldman: “Civil disobedience is a very valid and important way to protest,” he said. “But I don’t know whether a single person has benefited from that other than perhaps Brad Lander, because he gets a lot of attention for it.”

Yep. Don’t do attention-grabbing like standing up for persecuted people.

Tonight, the President of the United States has launched an unconstitutional war of aggression, dooming another generation to spill their blood for oil, and lay waste to a sovereign nation.

I demand that Congress exercise its power, halt this conflict, and impeach this war criminal president.

Don't overthink the Trump admin's reasoning here. They don't have a grand scheme. They are willing to upend the international order because they think everyone else will be too scared to fuck with them. And whatever terrorist attacks this inspires against us will just help them electorally.

Will brings up she can do this because her campaign "virtually prints money," but her campaign virtually prints money because she does stuff like this.

There is an enormous appetite to do good things right now in a system that rewards greed and evil. This very contrast created that money machine.

Every time someone talks about safety nets, healthcare, ubi, trans rights, taxing the rich, prison reform, dei, they're called hate-mongering dangerous radicals. Every time someone calls for public hangings or kidnapping and stranding people in countries they've never been, they're called unorthodox
A Palantir billionaire just called for public hangings.

“It's time to bring back masculine leadership to protect our most vulnerable,” writes Joe Lonsdale.

This is where Silicon Valley authoritarianism is heading:

This proposal of Musk’s sounds pretty fascist
Elon Musk, the guy who did two Nazi salutes in public and has previously described himself as a “free speech absolutist,” thinks it should be a crime to “falsely” call someone a Nazi or a fascist.

I’ve voted 7 times to reopen the government in a way that holds Trump accountable for his lawlessness and prevents a health care crisis.

I’m prepared to work toward a compromise, but this “deal” before us does not come close to meeting those terms. Voting NO.
