I’ve been making efforts to get more into audio stuff (sound design, mixing, etc) recently.
Coming from a video background where every bit of software update DEMANDS the OS to have been updated in the last few months (but not too recently), seeing “supports macOS 10.10+” is amazing.

Some interesting observations here on the differences between the Oscar-winning studio cut* and the director’s cut of a film I have loved for decades - and the losses of character and motivation in the former.
*I have possibly seen this version once, when a piano teacher loaned me a VHS in the 90s

It’s apparently got some stuff it wants to do.
No option to postpone. No notification it was going to do any updates when I shutdown. No indication of how long it’s going to take. It’s just happening.

The Hampstead ponds have REPEATEDLY voted to include trans women. But the officious pricks at Sex Matters don’t care what other women think and are forcing a public consultation anyway. Throw the ponds some support.
Even if I believed that this thing was capable of giving a believable human performance over an entire project (I do not), I can’t see it also being a performance that has responded to director notes. Or blends with other performances. Which makes the whole thing pointless.
