I know I said I was only going to buy multiple copies of the #Nova Centurion first issue to support the new series launch and collect those variant covers… but I couldn’t decide between these three for Issue #2 they had at my LCS today!

I’m confused, this is how it is now. The rich have access to inordinate resources and the rest of us just kind of fucking deal. It’s not great, but at least if the government pitches in people don’t have to destroy their lives in order to stay alive

I can’t agree that people stopped “virtue signaling” because the term almost instantly became meaningless; it was applied to any expression of caring or thoughtfulness. I don’t think the vice signaling came from an absence of virtue signaling, rather from the non-cessation of expressions of decency
we all got cowed into avoiding "virtue signaling" as if the public affirmation of socially agreed upon ethical principles was somehow cringey instead of a significant part of what a "society" even is. now all there's left is vice signaling, and it's reshaping society.
