As a database programmer, the answer is not hard to discern...

1. Stole our data
2. Sabotaged our data systems 🤷🏻‍♀️

This, exactly: “Fact-based people were put off by GOP lies.”
A 2022 study found that most journalists (51.7%) were independent. Those identifying as Republican fell from 18% percent in 2002 to 3.4% in 2022. Again, not a leftist plot. My theory: Fact-based people were put off by GOP lies. (If you don't think Republicans lie a lot, I can’t help you.) 5/10 🧵
Key Findings From The 2022 American Journalist Study
Executive Summary This survey continues the series of major national studies of U.S. journalists begun in 1971 by sociologist John Johnstone and continued in 1982, 1992, 2002, and 2013 by David Weaver...

In nearly six years now I’ve had Covid once (not masking on a 7-hour train trip) and one cold. One cold. In six years. I may never fly maskless again. Ever.
It’s wild we’re still talking about masks. I still mask up in grocery stores, elevators, public bathrooms, and public transit cuz I don’t like being sick and I don’t want to get my kid sick and it doesn’t have to be more complicated than not liking being sick. It’s weird anyone would question that.

It’s absurd that people fell for it. Democrats are constantly letting oppressors set the terms of debate instead of just saying “no, fuck you.”

Beyond the pale. Medicare and Medicaid pay for such a large % of care in the US that hospitals will be forced to comply with a youth trans care ban or close. The same mechanism the government used in the 1960s to desegregate hospitals but this time to retrench civil rights instead of advance them
The Trump admin announced today that it would no longer fund health systems that accept Medicaid/Medicare and offer gender-affirming care.

That will affect everyone receiving the care -- not just people *on* Medicaid/Medicare. Hospitals will likely choose Medicaid/Medicare over trans patients.
