ICE has recently bought the capability of monitoring the location histories of entire neighborhoods worth of phones. The data is likely harvested from apps that sell your data, which filters up through data brokers and eventually to companies that sell to ICE:

That's the other thing about this: the smartest auhoritarian play here is clearly to hang this particular thug out to dry, make soulful noises about protecting the safety of American citizens, while keeping the actual aggressive harrasment of immigrants going. Question not being asked: Why did the ICE agents even approach the car to arrest the driver? It's not a crime to be parked in the street or even blocking street. It's a traffic violation. No legal basis to immediately arrest a person for this low level traffic issue. Cops just give you a ticket.

Just so you know, this extra $500 billion is enough to END POVERTY using a negative income tax with a 50% phaseout rate. It's also FIVE TIMES the cost of the enhanced child tax credit that cut child poverty in half, that was just too costly to make permanent according to all Republicans + Manchin.

There is, IMHO, probable cause to arrest the officer for attempted homicide or homicide for the shots after the first. And, unless other facts are discovered, there is enough to prove the defendant guilty. 9/
