I stopped using X in November 2024 over its failure to tackle abuse, hate & illegal content.

X is monetising sexual abuse, it must stop now. Ofcom is right to investigate, but while it does, access to X & Grok must be immediately restricted. Every delay risks more victims.
Ofcom investigates Elon Musk's X over Grok AI sexual deepfakes
The watchdog said it had received reports of the platform's Grok AI chatbot creating undressed images of people.

Trump's brazen act of war in Venezuela isn't America First.

It's Big Oil barons first.

It's billionaires first.

It's Trump first.

'We have to take Greenland or Russia will' narrative sounds like it's been cooked up by the Kremlin & US collectively.

It's mutually beneficial.

1. Ends NATO, Putin's ultimate goal.
2. Makes Trump look tough on Russia, without doing anything to hurt them.

No Kemi, Trump threatening to invade a NATO ally is not a "second order issue."

It’s a direct challenge to Britain’s security and the future of NATO.

Astonishing to hear the Conservative leader describe a threat against a NATO ally as a ‘second order issue’.

…the fact that it’s a threat by impulsive gangster Trump makes it a terrifying reality.

Kemi, like Nigel, clearly in the pocket of the mad far right US Administration, cowards both.

Imagine a world where the Leader of His Majesty's Official Opposition did not understand the magnitude of threat to UK security, posed by Trump's direct threats to NATO.

Incredibly, we're living in it.

The starting point "Denmark cannot defend the territory" is misleading nonsense - given that Denmark allows the US to maintain military bases there
The Reform UK supporting Telegraph running a comment piece from a US CEO and president of the Palm Beach Freedom Institute about why Greenland belongs to the US is the hight of uninformed nonsense.

Greenland belongs in the United States
Denmark cannot defend the territory. It is too strategically important for the US to leave it vulnerable to potential Chinese control

So @lanceparkin.bsky.social has this theory that the Master in Doctor Who understands he's a fictional character and his motivation for his insane plots is "entertain the audience".

The Bowie Day on 6Music was a mixed bag of tenuous links (Oasis?) and with so many tracks to choose from why play some twice (love The Bewlay Brothers but really?).
Anyway, the hour long chat with Neil Tennant was perfect. Nuanced, insightful and touching.

As a Justice Committee member, I support reform—but only if it works.
I’m deeply concerned by plans to remove jury trials.
The Govt claims the Leveson Review backs this, but it doesn’t. The report proposes 2 magistrates + a judge and warns backlogs may not fall.
