Elon Musk and the United States did this.

We didn't create the famine, but we provided for people (as we fucking should) and then savagely cut those programs with NOTHING ELSE in place after people depended on us.

Damn them all. They're swimming in the blood.
Amid soaring starvation in the Kakuma Refugee Camp, one young mother of two said she had considered taking her own life to save her children, “because I heard the U.N. takes care of the kids when the parents are gone.”
After Trump Officials Cut Food Aid to Kenya, Children Starved to Death
“Brutal and traumatizing”: Interviews and a trove of internal documents show government officials and aid workers desperately tried to warn Trump advisers about impending disaster and death.

Project 2026 isn’t speculation or spin. It’s a published political agenda, it represents one of the most direct challenges to women’s rights in modern American politics.
Project 2026 Declares Open War on Women’s Rights
When The Heritage Foundation released its new policy blueprint for 2026 this week—an extension of the now-infamous Project 2025—it did so with the calm confidence of an institution convinced no one wi...

Robin Ince reveals to last night’s audience at a recording of Infinite Monkey Cage that the BBC has forced him to resign over his support of trans people

Right-wing media and so on don't actually like Linehan; they just hate trans people. If this loser is willing to destroy himself on the altar of their obsession, that's a sacrifice they are more than willing to make. Publishing his self-destructive ravings is irresponsible on so many levels.
Graham Linehan has such little self-awareness he *really* doesn’t understand how totally unhinged he seems in his ‘woe is me’ batshit crazy ranting! 😬

He’s the ‘cautionary tale’ of what obsessive ‘gender critical’ transphobia leads to: no friends, no life, and spaghetti carbonara for one!

Robin is one of the good ones and it’s horrible that he was left with no choice.
Very sad that I felt I had no choice but to resign from The Infinite Monkey Cage - a victory for the transphobes and other bigots - I did it because so much of the media has chosen to believe the kind and empathetic people are a fiction - they are real and so often unrepresented.

Furious at this. TERFs and Gender Critical people are a loud, radicalized, wealthy minority, forcing groups who've done the right thing for years into horrible positions that none of them want. Stop buying Harry Potter. Fight for your trans brothers and sisters. They'll come for you next.
i hope every single person who still buys harry potter merch or engages with that franchise is happy that they're literally making girl guides cry

girl guides uk have been forced very much against their will to exclude trans girls. full statement is here: www.girlguiding.org.uk/information-...
