In Feb 2023, I attended a climate skeptics conference in Orlando. I was the only reporter.

David Stevenson told me there that the offshore wind industry would “crumble” before it reached South Carolina. And that he was leading the opposition.

I followed him for 3 years and wrote this story.
The man behind the fall of offshore wind
David Stevenson has solar on his roof and drives a hybrid. How did he become the leader of the movement that helped Trump crush offshore wind farms?

👀 Scoop: Trump and Republicans want USPS to sell off its brand new EVs and chargers.

That would mean literally **ripping up post office parking lots** to auction off assets with no private-sector value.

It’s buried in the Senate’s “One Big Beautiful Bill.”

Costco sold a combo DVD set of the last castle and gladiator (also peak dad movie). They knew what they were doing, and so did my mother who bought it for my brother and me. Now she's a grandma of 4. Fatherhood is forged in the films.
the last castle (2001) is to me the absolute pinnacle of dad movies. robert redford as the noble, wrongly imprisoned army dad. james gandolfini fills the unbearable boss role in the form of a vainglorious and cruel warden. if you want a spectacular Regular Movie this is the one for you
What are some of your favorite Dad movies? Dad movies aren't only about or for Dads. They're enjoyed by everyone but give off Dad vibes. The kind of movie a middle-aged man will stand and watch. A few good ones have already been mentioned so I'll start a list
