This is the core of Frey’s corrosive governing cynicism. Council progressives called out the horse patrol (Mn’s only btw) in voting to limit 2024 tax hikes. Frey’s allies cried real tears, shouted defund & DSA, only to propose the cut months later. Yet lefties are decried as fiscally irresponsible.
Eliminating the horse police used to be a thing we would "say their names" about. Mayor Frey is a DSA defunder.
