It's not just bribery. He's now using personal litigation, backed by state extortion, to extract "settlements" which he then puts into an account he created to spend on government work, all entirely outside of Congress taxing or appropriating. It's full Charles I illegal taxation and spending.

It became a given because we won so substantially that most people who live in a liberal state don't know it exists. Us talking in this "public sphere," liberal. Being able to move within your own country, liberal. Until Maria Theresa, poor people in what is now Austria couldn't get married.
I think the problem is that liberals think liberalism is a structure and not an ideology. They're playing Monopoly and think their role is to be The Bank and not a player
I think it’s a huge flaw that liberalism attracts the kind of people who think the reason it lost is that it didn’t “make the case” when the real reason seems to be that it didn’t “crush dissent” or even like put the guy who tried to do a coup against it in jail
