Been thinking a lot lately about the intersections between propaganda working as intended, personal responsibility in determining what's true, and what they mean for being able (or unable) to rehab these people into informed citizens
Saying "propaganda works" is a real stretch when these people were served up media that dehumanized others and said "yes, feed me that slop I want to engage in my worse impulses"
