This is part of the Trump administration’s Epstein Files release — 119 pages of Grand Jury testimony, fully redacted.

This is not transparency. This is a cover-up. Follow the law and release ALL of the damn files.

BREAKING: The Democratic National Committee will NOT release its long-awaited autopsy on Trump's 2024 win. The report is completed but Dem leaders decided it could distract from their winning streak, so it will remain secret. Not good.

Sure, the world is horrible and Bovine is back in Chicago, but least you can go to cutting-edge live theater events like (checks notes) a simulation of jury duty.

The police recognize ICE/CBP as fellow cops and treat them accordingly.

Conflicts between them *only* arise when ICE/CBP doesn't reciprocate professional courtesy.
In case you still think that local police are going to stand up to federal immigration agents:

A few of minutes ago CPD swooped in on a community caravan that was tailing CBP agents to honk horns and warn neighbors, blocking the caravan from following and giving agents a clean break from scrutiny.

One reason I'm reposting this (other than it's very good) is the occupation of Memphis, unlike other cities, seems to be undercovered.

It feels extra cruel and intentional for CBP and Bovino to come back to Chicago, especially hard hit immigrant nhoods, one week before Christmas. These are strategies to abduct people but also about psychological terror meant to keep vulnerable community members afraid.

The situation right now is developing fast; Border Patrol is detaining people across SW side.

Community members are following their caravan. Agents are threatening people who film with pepper ball and tear gas dispensers.

It's going to take time for rapid response to tally arrest totals.

Why isn't increasing the cost of Chicago vehicle city stickers on the budget table? Increasing fees, esp for heavy vehicles would encourage people to use smaller cars & to own fewer cars/house. The current fees are ridiculously cheap. It's $165 for a 4,000# car. www.chicityclerk.com/chicago-city...

30 years of HEAT. Terrific essay:

"One can imagine a present-day Waingro taking a selfie with the three dead guards laying on the ground behind him, his other hand raised with a thumbs up and posting it on Instagram with the hashtags #gettingiton and #yolo."

Reminds me how seemingly every storefront theater in Chicago has a horror story about the recently-acquired-by-private-equity Concorde Theatricals. Not just increased prices, but also incompetent, AI-based communication. How much money could there be to squeeze out of play performance rights?
