A manager for the Immigrant Defense Network told MPR News that back in November, 2,500 people were trained as constitutional observers. Now, the total is nearly 30,000 trained observers in 77 of Minnesota's 87 counties.

This entire answer from Mike Johnson — the speaker of the House and a lawyer — must be seen.

It is fundamentally wrong on both points: as to administrative warrants (which need not be signed by immigration judges) and as to judicial warrants (which are not "new" for authorizing home entry).

I'm worried that the broader public isn't really understanding the Epstein Files. The problem isn't that everyone in the files is a secret pedophile, it's that all the people are corresponding with him because they *don't care that he's a pedophile*. It's a story of elite impunity.
You can look at the Epstein files and conclude that only bad people have billions of dollars, but I think it’s also possible that having billions of dollars cauterizes your humanity

Headed for some real Al Pacino And Justice For All energy here. But in all seriousness, Trump and Bondi have done a pretty good job of ransacking the Justice Department. It will take enormous work to build a new DOJ that reflects our best traditions once we drive this regime out at the polls.
This is unreal. An AUSA talking like that in open court is about as close as you can come to a total breakdown. Never heard of anything like it.

happening this morning in Minneapolis -- ICE agents drawing guns on observers. I reiterate again that it is only a matter of time before DHS kills more innocent people in Minnesota. Congress needs to shut this shit down right now.

I have confirmed the gist of this report out of federal court in Minnesota today from a source familiar.

If you have more information about the District of Minnesota—either the court or the U.S. Attorney's Office—and how they are handling all of this, please reach out. I am at crg.32 on Signal.

Peter Thiel has been open about this for a long time. Trump is a way to break the republic, which can then be replaced by “free economic zones” with oligarchs as dictators and tech as a taskmaster for helpless humans without any rights. (1/2)

“Nationalize the voting” is a direct threat to the Elections Clause of the U.S. Constitution, which grants the states the power to oversee our elections. This is fundamental, Constitution 101 type stuff.

Trump: "These people were brought to our country to vote, & they vote illegally. The Republicans should say, we should take over the voting in at least 15 places. The Republicans ought to nationalize the voting. We have states that I won that show I didn't win. You're gonna see something in Georgia"

Professional athletes are being advised not to leave the hotel or go anywhere without their passports while visiting Minnesota.

This is not a country that can safely host international events like the World Cup.

Boycotting is not even a political question anymore. It is a basic issue of safety.
The Montreal Canadiens are playing the Minnesota Wild in Minneapolis tonight. The players have been recommended to stay in/eat at the hotel, take the team bus to the arena, and carry passports.

Perhaps we shouldn't be hosting the World Cup and the Olympics...

No whistleblower complaint is too sensitive, too classified for the leaders of Congress’s intelligence committees. Such a thing is not possible.

And with Tulsi Gabbard’s years of public Putin sympathy, logical reasons get very dark.

This is a cover up. But isn’t Putin sympathy why she got the job?
There’s a highly classified whistleblower complaint about Tulsi Gabbard that’s been held up and not sent to Congress for 8(!) months

And a former aide to Gabbard runs her agency’s watchdog office & she got rid of the top attorney in that watchdog office

Congress hasn’t seen the complaint, which was filed eight months ago with the U.S. intelligence community watchdog’s office.
