Bless Chunklet for keeping the noise rock howl of Harvey Milk alive. This one’s a WREK ripper from when the band was barely even a band. Sounds nasty.

Oh, now I see people doing "5 concerts ive seen". I've seen many thousands. I think ive seen at least 500 acts multiple times each. I've been to over 5 shows in a single day, not at a festival. Just like a normal Saturday.
Only 5? I could definitely name 50, easy. 500 is likely doable if we're counting openers or like people ive seen play with different collaborators. I guess that's how to introduce myself.

I normally don't care about the appraisal values on Antiques Roadshow, as the prices are the boring part and are silly fantasies, but I'm pissed that 3 Ayn Rand books were appraised at $20,000-$30,000 since they are obviously worthless.

Journalist challenge: Use “Machine Learning” when you mean machine learning and “LLM” when you mean LLM. Ditch “AI” as a catch-all term, it’s not useful for readers and it helps companies trying to confuse the public by obscuring the roles played by different technologies. 🧪

This guy deserves much more harsher treatment than impeachment.
Breaking News: Robert F. Kennedy Jr. said he personally instructed the CDC to abandon its position that vaccines do not cause autism. The move underscores his determination to challenge scientific orthodoxy — in this case, that vaccines save lives — and bend the health department to his will.
RFK Jr. Says He Instructed CDC to Change Vaccines and Autism Language on Website
In an interview, Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. cited gaps in vaccine safety research. His critics say he is ignoring a larger point: Vaccines save lives.

I now see that I got a text alert about it yesterday, but a bunch of fighter jets in formation just flew over me on a random Tuesday morning. Why the fuck is there just a fucking military flyover of the White House (which is visited yesterday and is half gone and completely blocked off and weird)?

As a person who has experienced a coma and is diabetic and thus has an intense relationship with sugar, the term "sugar coma" is so weird and wrong. Please don't use it. You sound dumb.

How many times did I scream "fuck you, bootlickers" at pathetic losers in camouflage costumes while going to the post office? 3. Just a Wednesday afternoon in suburbanish Washington, DC. Just fucking assholes in army costumes standing around. I guess they are approved by someone and get paid.

I like having a beard because I haven't shaved since 2012 and shaving is annoying and razors are expensive. Having a beard is annoying when I have a cold (as I do now) and various stuff collects in it.

Grocery shopper 1: I’m going to donate whole pineapple cakes in honor of my grandma.

Shopper 2: did you say canned beets?

“Shopper” 3: here’s this opened box of cereal my kid didn’t like
I’m going to need well to do people to remember that unhoused people, disabled and sick people, recovering people, survivors, etc are not feel-good or learning opportunities for your kids. They’re not traditions for the holidays. They are people, and if you can’t treat them that way, stay away.

It is extremely funny that these doors ran up $23,000 at that hotel across Hiawatha Boulevard from the mall. What a tasteless trash thing to do. I cannot explain the degree to which this is the least cool thing to do in Syracuse. And that's a low bar. What dweebs.
Oh man, the New York Young Republicans implicated in the Nazi groupchat scandal ran up a $23,000 tab eating filet mignon and drinking at a hotel in Syracuse -- a city with one of the highest child poverty rates *in the nation* -- and then refused to pay the bill.

This generally seems good. Less Catholics is better (not my parents or technically me, but in a broad sense.)
BREAKING: Pope Leo XIV is set to effectively disband Opus Dei in the coming weeks.

This would be the most sweeping internal reform of his pontificate — and a dramatic continuation of Pope Francis’s legacy.
NEW: Pope Leo Set To Break Up Opus Dei
If Pope Leo does indeed approves a plan that effectively dissolves Opus Dei’s structure, it would be the most significant internal action of his short pontificate to date.

Umbrellas are ridiculous, ineffective things that mostly serve to annoy everyone around you and thus are immoral and opposed to an organized society. Useless shit. Fuck umbrellas, wear a coat and hat, walk through rain.
Do you have any extremely niche, but serious, ethical stances?
