The reason there are a lot of court orders telling Trump he can't do things is because he's been doing a crazy huge amount of illegal shit in his first three weeks in office.

This isn't rocket science. It's basic physics - action and reaction.

Statement from Senator Elizabeth Warren:

“Vought is giving big banks and giant corporations the green light to scam families. The CFPB has returned over $21 billion to families cheated by Wall Street. Republicans have failed to gut it in Congress and in the courts. They will fail again.”

She shared this with me privately shortly after the tour, and I'm grateful she made her thoughts public.

Also jarring to me that we've never had any real collective mourning in the USA.

More than a million Americans have died of Covid and, barring some very isolated moments, there's been no sense of coming together to mark the incalculable loss. No events. No monuments. Etc.
It is truly wild that it is estimated that more than 20 million people died of Covid and the prevailing vibe is that the world overreacted. That is an astonishing toll! More people died of Covid in the US than in the Civil War. www.pbs.org/newshour/hea...

Five years after the virus that causes COVID emerged in China it still holds some mysteries.

TODAY’S EPISODE OF: WE FU*KING WARNED YOU

MAGA voted for Trump’s tariffs. Affordable cars are already vanishing & new tariffs on Mexican-built vehicles will make it worse.

Mexico builds nearly 1/3 of sub-$30K cars like the Sentra & Maverick. Without them, good luck finding a budget-friendly ride.

Yup, that’s it in a nutshell. 🥜
So basically the Trump Admin’s immigration policy is to increase the number of people from other countries who come in and take high-skilled, high paying American jobs, while deporting everyone else doing physically grueling jobs for shit wages?

"I owe my soul to the company store"

Back in Appalachia in the 1920s-1940s, coal mining companies set up towns for the workers and their families, who were often paid in scrip only good at the company store. It made it impossible for workers to save $$ and move out and up.
It's called debt bondage.
STAY ALERT TO THIS…

You’re going to be hearing more about Elon Musk’s new creation—a town he plans to call Starbase. Pay attention because it’s a micro version of his vision for the United States.
