every publication that expects to retain a modicum of respectability should institute at minimum a 10 year ban on any author that does this
It is an academically despicable and corrosive act to cite papers that do not exist
I’m sorry, but it is disgraceful to be an academic who uses this technology to conduct research. It should be prohibited in all of our scholarly institutions, including universities and journals.
