Once you see it it becomes impossible not to notice the media consent-manufacutring machine that responds to literally every social crisis with the diagnosis that "women too free."
My sense is that the “male loneliness crisis” is not really about addressing men’s emotional needs but rather the relatively newfound absence of having someone to perform domestic labor for you quietly in the background now that there is a longer gap between your mother and your wife doing it

The decline of third spaces and hangouts, such as malls, video rental places, arcades & skate parks has been a direct result of the rise of convenience and has also been objectively bad for society as a whole. Its not that everyone HAS to socialize, but having no option to without bars is a failing.

sure sex sounds great but have you ever had a person read one of your short stories, leave a comment there, then move on to one of your multichapter long fics and leave comments for each chapter across multiple hours, then start on another fic and leave comments for that one too?
