You know what definitely did push me deeper into the closet? Everyone around me making an effort to tell me how valid it was for me to avoid unpacking how much I was obviously an egg.
most people I've seen say that someone talking to them about them being trans would push them deeper into the closet did not actually have anyone approach them and that is the most commonly invoked argument in favor of the egg prime directive that I've seen

I don't know how many times I have to explain that it's not about pronouns (tho you should just call ppl what they want to be called). It is about the right to public existence, the benefits of the commons, gender affirming healthcare, and freedom from violence
Very eye opening, if not exactly surprising, to witness "social justice" leadership in the Global North collapsing on trans rights almost as swiftly as liberals and Democrats. It's clear that many did not understand or care about what is at stake for us, but rather have been meekly following trends

They just completely won with calling LLM errors "hallucinations" didn't they? Even the fiercest AI critics say it. Unnecessarily anthropomorphic and helpless way to say "returned false and broken results," as if the bot had an imagination or the ability to tell truth from lies.
