Definitely true
one of the main reasons why The Expanse slapped so much.
We really need more scifi shows to focus on the ground. To show the daily lives of regular people in the dystopian futures they imagine. To do it without promising some grand adventure or revolution is going to fix things. To show the uncertainty and powerlessness of being born into such a world.
