I'm watching Neon Genesis Evangelion for the first time and WOW, the sexual jokes and artwork aren't cool. THEY'RE 14 YEAR OLD KIDS! Ugh. I'm pretending the kids are actually like college students, and that helps, because I do think the story is interesting and want to see where it goes. Just, ugh.

As I always do with boycotts, I urge: be tough with corporations, gentle with individual buyers. For some people, Black Friday sales are the way they get their kids jackets that fit, shoes that hold up to the weather. Yelling at them doesn’t help the cause.

Me about to piss off a bunch of capitalists: If Bezos doesn’t want to pay his fair share in corporate taxes, I don’t see why we shouldn’t nationalise Amazon and make it a subsidiary of the post office.

Having to get a kitty urine sample is the worst, because she won't let me stick something under her while she's using the LitterRobot, so I had to shut her in a pen with a regular litterbox. Which she then didn't use, so after 12 hours I let her out and she let me stick the damn container under her.

folks can complain about the effectiveness of scheduled orderly mass protest but to think about it another way its the closest thing we have to the opening scene of A Muppet Christmas Carol where all the muppets sing "there goes Mr. Dipshit, there goes Mr. Ass" to Scrooge and it clearly bothered him

Heads up folks, I scheduled my Covid and flu shots via the CVS app earlier this week, and only just now learned when I checked in that the Covid shot has to be taken separately, 2 weeks apart from the flu shot.
