The thing about Trump is that everything with him is exactly what it looks like. We've been through this before, with anxious liberals fretting that something or other is a clever double-fakeout. It never is. It's always just the thing in itself.
Given how news cycles work and the dynamics of the Trump propaganda/conspiracy machine, I don't find it plausible that the DOJ knowingly planted fake evidence against Trump in the Epstein files so they could discredit it later.

This is not AT ALL an implausible scenario. It’s a country of 330 million people, Epstein’s death was massive news, Nassar was in the news, and of course millions of people were very angry about the Access Hollywood video and Trump generally.
If this was faked, then someone within a day or two of Epstein's death used an old Nassar address within a day or two of Epstein's death to mail a postcard to ensure it eventually ended up returned to sender and in The Eventual Epstein Files. Seems less plausible than him just sending a postcard.

A disturbing update to this story: Despite the fact that he was about to be released from a US prison after completing a sentence here, when Kelvin Membreño was deported to El Salvador he was sent to CECOT prison and remains there. The family has not heard from him since.
