Well, fuck. Revoking any and all Peripeteia recommendations (and I wish I could un-back it on Kickstarter) based on the very thinly veiled transphobia from the dev (the first one in the screenshots here).

Acquaintance grabbed these screencaps. Idk if it's getting purged.
"Second stage is people rejecting conspiracy discourse" is genuinely hilarious, I gotta teach em a little about Yakub and maybe they'll change their tune

I know it may seem that us Future Class folks don't seem to give Geoff any benefit of the doubt. But we have given him ample opportunities yet he consistently shows us what his priorities are: "his own bag, his rich friends, and positive press." Not supporting the industry that lets him have a show.
Apparently, Keighley doesn't have time to reply to @alyssamerc.bsky.social's request for comment, but he sure does have time to post about his latest business deal surrounding the awards on LinkedIn.

Well yeah, have you seen what happens to those who don't want to sign off on this? Can you really call that consent when the alternative is losing (or never getting) a job?

Amazing moment in time right now where people who yelled at us for sticking to genocide as a red line are now also disgusted with Democrats and threatening not to vote for them. So your health insurance becoming more expensive was your red line?

“individual employees asked to change behavior in response to catastrophic mistakes made by their high-level leadership over the past 3-7 years” really feels like the overarching story of the current times
"Store employees are now required to smile if they are within 10 feet of a shopper.
They also must make eye contact with and wave to or greet the customer.
If they’re within four feet, the employee should ask how the customer’s day is going or if they need help."

Spent a bit of time with the classics and a couple modern classics like SIGIL, Cheelo's Voxels, and MyHouse. So far everything looks great, runs great, and not a hint of texture filtering to be found (unless you *really* want to, I guess)

hate this guy so bad but also getting increasingly frustrated that there's nobody in the senate dems willing to even start suggesting they need new leadership
SCHUMER is on the floor now making this offer to end the shutdown:
Clean CR
Bipartisan "minibus" of approps bills
1-year ACA funding extension
Bipartisan cmte to negotiate on health care
"This is a reasonable offer that reopens the government, deals with health care affordability."

The band on my headphones just randomly cracked for no reason? Like, I just picked it up from the desk and noticed it wasn't fitting right
I've only had these a couple years. And the cover was already peeling off the padding. I'm kinda sick of how quickly everything falls apart these days

Giving Fatal Frame 4 another shot
I keep trying, but I haven't been able to get into 4 and 5 as easily as the first three. Partly because the vibe is... off in ways that are kind of hard to explain quickly. And partly because they're honestly just way more awkward and unpleasant to control
