When I got here two years ago, Root was charging $500 shipping on candles. I got a parishioner who works in San Antonio to pick them up for me from the warehouse. Now they're closing the warehouse. First order since then, $800 shipping. So I'm switching companies then

Kind of an obvious one to do really but I finally got round to it! Begin 2026 with another tale of the Sanguinary Utnapishtim (kudos comment subscribe over at archiveofourown.org/works/77066611) wherein you see how it is people get doctorates in a Khornite Empire. It's actually more humane than irl.

It may be easy to dismiss Justin Olson's comments that people with disabilities shouldn't get married as right-wing claptrap. But the American government discourages it because if people with disabilities get married, they risk losing their SSI benefits.

YOU DUMB FUCKS. THIS IS ME.

I have a scooter. I can walk. I can't, however, walk through 80 miles of airport. I can walk onto an airplane or through hallways. I can't walk the .5 mile to the convention center.

People, get smarter, it's embarrassing at this point.

Hi, it me. 26w gestational age NICU baby in 1983. Reliably informed that FEP Blue Cross Blue Shield had to have someone dedicated to my claims alone they were so many. At 1 year old? North of $1 Million dollars in 1984 $. (They basically didn't do copays way before that point. Thanks OPM.)
I worked for an insurance co. in those days. I've been a biller, too, and a patient.

I saw a NICU claim at a job 3 years ago and my jaw dropped. It was a little over $7 million. Remember those lifetime caps? Busted.

Covid? Everything is pre-ex and can be related to it.

The Arc de Triomphe was commissioned to honor Napoleon in 1806. By the time construction had really begun in earnest, Napoleon had suffered a disastrous military defeat and had been forced into exile.
Trump: We’re building an arc like the Arc de Triomphe. It will be like the one in Paris but it blows it away.

Breaking news is tricky ... but FYI when news outlets don't use "alleged" in their headlines... they're not afraid of being sued. Which suggests the evidence is really really solid.

There’s no “allegedly” in this story, as @kendrawrites.com notes. Which in the journalism world suggests certainty. Because otherwise your lawyers stop you from publishing this.
