I hold a lot of disdain for the people who didn’t see this coming given P2025 but it does seem like the actual support for these goals is nonexistent, everyone who voted for him did so under the incredibly stupid assumption that he wouldn’t do this

Word. My threshold for blocking has gone from "spouting dangerous rhetoric in my replies" to "acting mildly snide to anyone at all."
This really highlights the foundational importance of The Bluesky Way (“immediately block anybody who says anything even remotely unchill to you or to anybody you like”)
Bluesky has been flooded with automated reply bots - they'll offer a sort of confrontational opinion as a reply. They're pretty convincing and we all need to train ourselves to not reflexively reply to all responses until we check
