Ppl keep asking me what it's like here and like obviously there is tension. I walking around w my passport when I shouldn't fucking have to and watch my community get assaulted but I also say it's push-pull bc I have never more strongly felt these are my people. These community bonds are so strong.
On the ground here in Minnesota, it’s hard to reconcile the immense bonds of community that have been built in a week with the fact that we live in a country whose government appropriated billions of dollars to an unaccountable paramilitary force whose sole purpose is ethnic cleansing.

This is exactly right. Republicans will never agree to it, but this is the opportunity to tighten the screws on them as much as possible to try to achieve some kind of anti gerrymandering legislation. Every blue state that can should maximize the number of seats.
I don't think it matters that the racist Texas gerrymander might be dead. With enough blue state redistricting, Democrats can see how much political pain Republicans are willing to endure before they agree to fair(er) electoral maps.
