It’s an indictment of the neoliberal order that my retirement investments keep rising to new heights as democracy is dismantled, competitive autocracy is erected, and fascist violence sweeps the country.

Eisenhour taxed them at 90% and it kicked off the largest manufacturing boom in a century and created the middle class. And EVERYONE benefited.

It gets even better.

In French universities, depending on your study, exams are oral.

There's no real paper trail.

A racist prof can just fail you.

Israel allowing exists from Gaza but no reentry is ethnic cleansing & history repeating. It’s the script of the Nakba — massacre people & then leave them with the awful decision between their children’s lives & their land and then lie that those who chose the former voluntarily departed.

So sick.

And yet people were in fact shifted in the right direction on civil rights, multiple times, which means these viewpoints aren’t fixed!
People are quite easy to shift in a "F*ck Your Feelings" direction but much harder to shift in a "actually do what Christ said in the New Testament" direction

Cool let's bring back lead and asbestos too.
Sean Duffy on slashing fuel economy standards: "This rule will actually allow you to bring back the 1970s station wagon. Maybe a little wood paneling on the side. We can bring back choice to consumers."

Tons of research shows people rarely commit fraud for social services anyway. We literally went through a mo ths-long news cycle about DOGE committing more fraud than they actually found. What is wrong with you people. Just let people have accommodations. Why do you fucking care?

The Boston Globe identified the companies in Massachusetts that employ the most SNAP recipients. A key stat: "In Massachusetts, 74% of working-age recipients of the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program are employed, half of them full-time."
